"Together in movement"
Physical activity has several positive effects on mental health. We see it as the best medicine for mental health. The lifestyle group at Fontenehuset Stavanger has therefore taken the initiative for a project with a duration of one year. The project gives everyone the opportunity to participate, regardless of one's current level of function, with a focus on motivating movement and increasing physical activity.

About the project
The project means that together we will go around the world in the course of one year, using pedometers / activity bracelets / mobile apps. On the "trip" around the world, we will visit 31 different Clubhouses in 17 different countries. The project is carried out by collecting the number of steps we have taken each week and seeing how far we have come on the map.

The goal
We want to improve physical and mental health. We want this project to give each individual a noticeable positive change in their own health, and that the motivation for physical activity will continue. The project is carried out by collecting the number of steps we have taken each week and seeing how far we have come. Se our progress here: map.
The positive effect of the project.
It can reduce physical and mental health problems. Better self-esteem and self-confidence. Provide experience of coping, improve quality of life and sleep. It can be a source of joy and affect the mood positively. Such a project can provide belonging, reduce the feeling of loneliness and result in fewer hospital admissions.
